Taking advantage of a seven-run fourth inning and solid pitching, Vogie Baseball defeated Flood Ford, 8-4.

Jack Thompson, who allowed just three runs on two hits in five innings, and Trace Dubois, who closed the game with two innings of no-hit ball, led the way for the Huskies.

Led by the stellar pitching of Jackson Chamberland, Smithfield defeated Slocum Baseball, 4-0. In seven innings of work the righty, struck out eleven batters and walked just one.

Offensively, Bellini had two hits and one rbi to lead the Sentinels.

Wednesday’s game against Scituate Connie Mack was a heartbreaker for West Warwick Connie Mack, as they lost the lead late in a 3-2 defeat.

The pitching on both sides was solid with 11 strikeouts for each team.

WWCM took an early 1-0 lead into the top of the fourth inning before Scituate scored the tying run.

Travis Howarth struck out ten batters in six innings of work for the Spartans.

Welmer Montilla-Cruz, Anthony Burt, Brendan Griffen, and Eian Peacock (triple) all had one hit to lead West Warwick Connie Mack.
